I'm a Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of combined industry and research experience — starting as a precision toolmaker and working up to an M.Sc. from RWTH Aachen University, one of Europe's top engineering institutions. My work sits at the intersection of R&D and production: I translate concepts into validated, manufacturable processes and take them all the way through to industrial scale-up. At Topsoe A/S I developed and qualified manufacturing processes for solid oxide electrolyzer components in pilot production — working across R&D, quality, and production teams to ensure that what was designed could actually be built consistently and to standard. My technical toolkit spans precision CNC machining, laser beam welding, sheet metal forming, SolidWorks/Siemens NX CAD, MSA/Gage R&R, equipment IQ/OQ qualification, root cause analysis, and structured process documentation to GMP standards. The energy transition is the defining engineering challenge of our generation, and it's one I care about personally. Growing up in East Frisia — a region shaped by wind energy for decades — and building my career around electrolyzer and Power-to-X manufacturing technology, I want to contribute to the transition through rigorous, hands-on engineering work, whether that's in green hydrogen, advanced manufacturing, or the systems that make clean energy scalable.
