Rec-Kos is one of the largest companies in Southeast Europe in the metal recycling industry. The company collects, processes, sorts and trades non-ferrous metals, electronics, waste plastics and waste oils. Rec-Kos is primarily an exporter of recyclable scrap metal, securing it in Kosovo, processing it for reuse and selling it as raw material to foundries and steelworks. Mainly the collected material is bought by companies that extract old parts from depreciations and sell them under various contracts and tenders, scrap dealers, local authorities as well as public suppliers. A small amount is also bought from some street vendors. Rec-Kos offers all types of used and recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals, recycles metals ranging from iron and steel to aluminum, copper, lead, stainless steel, zinc and other recycling materials. Our history began in 2000 as a RECYCLING company and in 2008 REC-KOS LLC. was formed. Today, our company operates in Kosovo as one of the largest fields of processing scrap, non-ferrous metals, plastics, etc. With the available working area of more than 6 hectares, of which 3000 m2 is covered our company has been successful in the market for over 24 years. During 2021 our company established her new branch under the name Reckoss-Trans ltd Dooel Skopje in North Macedonia country and is successfully operating by exporting regularly abroad. Rec-Kos with over 150 employees carries out its activity with equipment such as excavators, presses, machines, trucks and other machines. The company mainly exports the material to the European Union and to all the countries of the region and has all the necessary permits to carry out the processing of metals as well as for their export.
