I’m a passionate and driven Art Director with over 15 years of experience in both the corporate, agency and freelance worlds. Effectively led the creative direction for various hospitality and manufacturing clients such as White Lodging, Grand Geneva and Sullair. Provided innovative concepts, photo direction and brand improvements. Worked on print, web, and social media collateral. Partnered with other designers. Concepted and researched with colleagues to create strategic creative in alignment with client needs. • Built a cohesive, recognizable brand image by designing, implementing, and expanding on a group of existing brand standards for Grand Geneva hotel. Successfully made the brand more consistent, and improved print and web presence. • Creatively contributed to the complete redesign of a multi-million dollar client, White Lodging. Created thought-provoking concepts and visually appealing design that resulted in a successful brand relaunch. The launch achieved the companies goal by increasing interest in career opportunities while improving on the company’s culture.
Art directed global product branding for both commercial and retail fitness equipment. Pioneered channel-specific marketing for a large and diverse portfolio of fitness products. Performed research on competitors and market trends. Responsible for organizing project needs by preparing shot lists for photography, updated digital image library and managing product timelines. Approved color and registration at press checks for catalogs and large print projects. • Successfully presented brand direction for a new global commercial channel, hospitality, which is now the largest area of sales growth outside of the companies core business. Collaborated with both internal Marketing Managers and outside vendors to schedule a complete multi-location photo shoot in Hawaii, Toronto, St. Louis and Lake Mills. Upon completion, photography and brand assets are still the most utilized of any other commercial channel. • Directed all model photography (location and studio) for multiple catalogs: scheduled, selected digital creative direction, directed photo shoots and selected photos. Managed all aspects of the shoot including clothing selecting, location scouting and vendor relationships.
