Sustainability Advisory and ISO 20121 implementation
- Advised agencies and their clients on embedding sustainability frameworks (ISO 20121, Biosphere, EcoVadis, and others) into business operations and event management, delivering tailored guidance, training, and implementation support. - Collaborated on the development and rollout of the GDS-Index benchmarking framework, enabling destinations to measure and enhance sustainability performance, including carbon management. - Utilised specialised digital platforms and tools — such as TRACE, EcoVadis, and the GDS-Index — to assess client performance, identify improvement areas, and support certification and reporting processes. - Managed stakeholder engagement and governance processes to achieve sustainability certifications for multiple clients, including ISO 20121 (UAE government event and global event management company), Biosphere (Canadian DMC network), EcoVadis (Spanish DMC), and the FiA Environmental Management System (French Formula E companies). - Designed frameworks and processes to guide clients from initial onboarding through long-term integration of sustainable event and travel practices. - Conducted carbon footprint assessments and authored sustainability reports for both organisational and destination-level clients.
