• Hired as a Program Assistant II provisionally-to serve as interdepartmental support for Department Chair, Academic Advisor, and full-time and adjunct faculty for a 5-month dormant position. • Provided administrative, technical, and organizational assistance while coordinating and liaising with other departments. Acted as the first point of contact for inquiring prospective students and new and returning student populations. Processed incoming records and coordinated efforts with admissions, registrar, testing, financial aid and the cashier for newly enrolled. • Edited all office materials for compliance with current department standards and nomenclature. • Communicated and coordinated with outside agencies on behalf of both students and the department.
• Managed front desk responsibilities including monitoring phone, text, mail and email, provided all scheduling services, verified patient sign in, managed incoming payments and daily reconciliation, and maintained reception/waiting area. • Provided general office support with creating correspondence, verifying insurance, inventory maintenance and storage, ordering supplies, organizing retail, registering and presenting new patient information, reconnecting with prior patients for return to service, keeping promotional gifts stocked, and opening and closing of business. • As a medical assistant, was responsible for restocking all necessary materials between patients, sanitizing and maintaining order of patient rooms, sanitizing all necessary tools, disposing of any biohazard, properly handling any spills or threats of potential harm, attending to all laundry, liaised between patients and medical staff.
