Research area's of interest: Prenatal and periconception determinants of adult health. Maternal nutrition, maternal undernutrition, maternal obesity, dieting and Ramadan exposure during pregnancy, hyperemesis gravidarum, but also conception through IVF and ICSI may each affect the offsprings health as an adult. I strive to take a clinical perspective so as to improve current recommendations and treatment strategies to provide babies with the best start in life.
