Oversight for AbbVie's global campus recruiting strategy that encompasses 400+ annual hires of interns, development program members, and early career pipeline. Manages exceptional experiences throughout the assessment, on-boarding, orientation, content programming and key development phases of early career intake. Identify opportunities to leverage and create human capital solutions that lead to a remarkable impact on patients' lives across the world. Manage, develop and expand the internal and external partnerships necessary to drive AbbVie's current and long-term talent pipeline goals globally for R&D, Clinical Operations, Commercial, Corporate Strategy, IT, Finance, HR and Manufacturing Operations functions.
Identify and manage key campus partnerships to source and recruit top undergraduate and MBA talent. Manage and maintain the successful diverse pipeline of talent through strategic planning, collaboration, and involvement in target diversity associations and initiatives. Lead the implementation of the company’s employer branding strategy at target institutions. Manage internal partnerships with Leadership Development Program managers, senior HR leaders, and core school Executive Sponsors. Drive alignment across Leadership Development Programs and identify and share best practices to provide consistent, exceptional recruiting, on-boarding, and internship programs. Establish and measure key metrics, manage team budget and resources, and provide recommendations for improving optimization and effectiveness.
Led Engineering Leadership Development Program for Global Product Organization in U.S., 9 international tech center locations, and 5 manufacturing divisions. Managed 30+ full time engineers, summer intern & co-op programs, and placed 20+ engineers internationally. Linked program strategy with technology excellence and technology advantage work and aligned with global operating plans and overall workforce planning process. Initiated MS Co-op Program with a top engineering university for program graduates. Planned and managed the development rotations for the participants in line with career interest, developmental needs, and organizational needs. Linked Engineering and Technology competency models to developmental agenda through assignment planning and development of a formal learning curriculum. Total of 19 completed LDP classes, with over 40% diversity in program. Assessed, selected, and managed the external partnerships required globally (Europe, China, India, and Mexico) to execute the program strategy and deliver talent to the organization. Key lead for internal stakeholders including Global Product Organization leadership, WERLD alumni, Talent Acquisition, Global Product Organization HR, and Engineering & Technology leadership.
Vendor management for Whirlpool’s $80M contingent labor outsourcing contract (AGS) and implementation for the global organization. Recruitment management for recruiting team supporting Global Supply Chain, Global Information Systems, Human Resources, Manufacturing Operations, Consumer Care, and Field Sales and the associated talent strategies for experienced hire recruiting, executive level sourcing, campus activities, and diversity conferences. Executed Master Assessor Program, (internal assessment capability building) for selected Whirlpool leaders and managers at corporate & NA manufacturing divisions. Assessment development and execution for University Relations recruiter certification program. Drove Whirlpool’s employee referral program. Led University Recruitment strategy for all functions at Michigan State University. Initiated recruiting strategy to support division locations for NA salaried hiring.
