• Joined under Engineering Technology Programme Scholarship (ETPS) • Identified root causes of pad wear and tear during chemical mechanical planarization of semiconductor wafers, proposing cost-saving and sustainable solutions • Awarded Best Proposal award by a panel of Micron directors
• Joined R@YDSP (Research@Young Defence Scientists Programme) • Designed and analyzed an electric wing in ground-effect drone for ship chandling at DSTA. • Project entered and won awards at Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) 2023 and Singapore International STEM Innovation Challenge (SISTEMIC) 2023. • In SSEF 2023, the project won the Bronze award, James Dyson Foundation Design Engineering Award, and the SUTD R&I Award: Aviation • In SISTEMIC 2023, the project won the Gold award • Developed skills in design engineering, aviation research, and project management.
•Joined DSO World of Science (Robotics) • Programmed an electric remote controlled vehicle for disaster response without a camera, improving survivability in dark and cramped areas. • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise in navigating challenging environments. • Gained hands on experience in robotics such as 3D printing and the Robotic Operating System. • Learnt the basics of electronic design, prototyping and debugging.
