Researched and collected data by gathering and organizing over 500,000 recipes from diverse sources. Applied Named Entity Recognition (NER) techniques to extract and structure key information from unstructured recipe text. Developed and maintained a relational database with 20+ fields per recipe, enabling efficient querying and analysis. Built a comprehensive foundation for future projects involving recipe data, such as cuisine classification or other culinary insights.
Contributed to the planning and execution of North India's largest student-led design conference, featuring 16+ industry speakers and 15+ interactive events. Collaborated with the Department of Human-Centered Design and the Center for Design & New Media to facilitate workshops, speaker sessions, and panel discussions, fostering a vibrant platform for design innovation and interdisciplinary learning.
Conducted research to develop an AI-powered assistant leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to aid researchers in writing and study processes. Fine-tuned LLMs and engineered prompts to improve performance and relevance. Implemented Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and integrated agentic interaction patterns for enhanced information retrieval. Reviewed and synthesized academic papers to guide model improvements and validate outputs.
Represented the student batch by voicing their concerns and collaborating with the Student Council to organize campus events, improve student welfare, and foster community engagement.
