I support electric utilities across Alabama, Florida, and Georgia as they modernize metering infrastructure, improve operational visibility, and prepare for the future of the grid. My focus is not just technology, but long-term partnership. Successful AMI deployments require more than meters and networks, they require strong communication, dependable service, thoughtful planning, and solutions that align with each utility’s operational goals and culture. At Landis+Gyr, I work closely with electric cooperatives, municipalities, and public power utilities to support AMI strategy, deployment planning, grid modernization initiatives, and ongoing account management. I also collaborate closely with distributor partners, technical teams, project management, and customer leadership to help ensure projects are successful from initial evaluation through long-term operation. I believe the best utility partnerships are built on trust, responsiveness, and a genuine understanding of customer needs. My approach centers around three core principles: partnership, service, and technology.
I leverage my experience in utility operations technology (OT) to help consult on breaking through complexities. I bring thought leadership, expertise, and strategic thinking to help our clients digitally transform their operations. I focus on distributed energy management, electric vehicles, and green tech.
With my knowledge of power plant control systems, I helped build a Security Operations Center (SOC) focused on providing cyber security services to power plants in North America. We developed the policies, procedures, and deployment strategy for the SOC to monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
Served as the project manager and technical implementation manager for over 25 projects at Landis+Gyr. I led and managed the planning and deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure systems, SCADA systems, and IoT systems such as water heater communication and streetlighting management.
Traveled extensively to power plants in North and South America to deploy and manage the Siemens T3000 Power Plant Control System. Relied on to help plan and perform new installations of the control system or to help perform upgrades of the control system during planned outages.
