I’m a computer engineer and network software engineer specialist, I have 15+ years of experience working with Linux-based systems, developing firmware for network devices, and working with Software Defined Network for Private Cloud infrastructure. I design and develop complex computer systems using different programming languages. I’m highly motivated by big and complex challenges!
* I have designed and developed Software Defined Network (SDN) solutions in C/C++ and Python for large-scale and distributed Cloud network infrastructure. * I delivered high-scale and high-performance solutions by virtualizing networks within a data center and across multiple datacenters. * I developed and integrated open-source software with different upstream network projects: OpenStack, Neutron, Open Virtual Network, Open vSwitch (C/C++, Python, Shell, Ansible, etc). Active contributor in open-source projects: OpenStack/Neutron, OVN and Open vSwitch. * I developed and improved automated testing solutions for large-scale OpenStack environment, using Ansible, Shell scripts, Qemu/KVM server virtualization, and cloud-related subjects for OpenStack administration.
* I have developed Linux-based firmware for embedded network devices using C/C++/Python. * I worked with custom kernel development for packet acceleration in the Linux TCP/IP core stack, and integration with Broardcom SoC network/fastpath hooks. * I developed Linux drivers and peripheral device drivers (such as SPI or I2C, for example) to integrate with vendors' SoCs and network chipsets. * I have developed several low-level software using operating system concepts (e.g.: IPC, multiprocess, and multithreaded design with embedded POSIX) for integrated applications with Linux Netlink, Netfilter, etc. * I worked with integrating several third-party SDKs (cross-compiling), and bootloader development for bringing up programming, DDR calibration, and memory mapping. * Strong problem solving, kernel/application debugging, troubleshooting, security inspection and perform analysis. Extensive knowledge of network protocols. * I have Worked with hardware engineers, reading schematics and coding the system device tree, GPIO functions, and chipset behavior for device bring-up and debugging.
