Experienced Human Resources Business Partner with a demonstrated history of working in the Pharmaceuticals and Agricultural industry. Responsible for all HR Processes and activities of the Country Platform (Corporate Functions, Supply Chain, Quality / 190 employees) and the Talent Management Processes for the entire country. • Providing guidance and support to functional heads in positioning effective performance management and talent management, • Counseling and supporting functional managers in the resolution of specific individual local HR issues; e.g. disciplinary actions incl. face-to-face meetings with managers/employee, • Taking a role in Human Resources planning and Budget preparations, • Organizing and facilitating workshops and focus group sessions in the scope of the new Performance Management approach (feedback, leadership, agile goal setting), Employee Surveys etc., • Establishing a Talent Review process for the Country Platform and for the Country Council and guiding managers in this process in order to run an effective Talent Management; guiding the HR BP's in managing the Talent Review for their businesses, • Acting as an interface between the local HR Community and the Global TM and contribute to the global development of HR strategies, processes and tools by providing specific input on behalf of the country, • Providing relevant information to the local HR BP's to keep them informed about upcoming initiatives and supporting them with newly implemented strategies, policies, processes and tools, • Leading the new Performance Management experiment project in Turkey. The new PM approach was experimented in some countries before it went live worldwide. We participated in the experiment with a complex group and as an exceptionally active country during the experiment we received a thank you letter from the Board. • Managing the launch of the new Performance Management approach in the entire organization in Turkey, • Initiated the first Reverse Mentoring in Turkey which was chosen as a best practice on global level, • Designed the new onboarding program for new employees.
Responsible for all HR processes and activities in the Vegetable Seeds entity (85 employees) in Turkey: • Working in a matrix structure I provided the country head and the managers of the employees who were mostly located in EMEA region guidance, coaching and support focused on performance management, talent assessment, career development, conflict management, compensation and benefits, Labor Law, training, recruitment and retention, • Established the HR department as I was the first local HR professional in Turkey, • Ensured the implementation and application of global HR, policies, • Managed organizational changes like the harmonization/ integration of compensation and benefits policies between Vegetable Seeds and Bayer Türk who were operating totally separate from each other, • Supported major cultural changes in the local organization by organizing workshops together with the global HR BP’s. • Organized and facilitated Focus Group Sessions in Turkey, Spain, Italy and The Netherlands as a follow up on the Employee Satisfaction Survey results and provided an action list to the Country Leaders, • Organized team building and social activities, • Implemented the Health and Safety Law and led the Health and Safety team, • Member of the Country Council, the South European HR team and the HR team of Bayer Turk.
Responsible for all HR Processes and activities of the Pharmaceuticals Business Unit (350 employees): • Counseled business heads in positioning effective performance management as a key enabler for a high performance culture, • Reviewed and redesigned together with the Business Unit Manager and Country Division Head the Talent Management initiatives of the Business Unit, especially the ones for the sales force, • Organized and facilitated the Talent Review Session and provided guidance to the management team during the entire process in order to enable them to contribute to an effective Talent Management, • Counselled and supported business managers in the resolution of specific individual local HR issues; e.g. disciplinary actions incl. face-to-face meetings with managers/employee, • Took a role in Human Resources planning and Budget preparations, • Member of the Pharmaceuticals Management Team, • Demonstrated the ability to be a successful business partner for a very large and demanding business group in a very short time and was evaluated as a High Potential Talent.
Responsible for HR processes and activities in the Units Art & Culture (175 employees) • Provided Line Managers and employees with consultation and support focused on employee relations, performance management, compensation administration, statistical analyses, leave of absence, leadership development and training, recruitment and retention, • Developed and implemented HR policies, • Conducted a high amount of recruitments due to a lot of work based on projects, • Developed the Health and Safety policy, led the Health and Safety team and coordinated the implementation in the entire organization (350 employees), • Developed the Diversity Project and coordinated the implementation in the entire organization.
