When I was 16, the choice I made to learn about computing brought me into the amazing IT world. With over 5 years of experience, mainly in Python, and additional skills in C++ and JavaScript, I’ve been involved in projects ranging from applied research in artificial intelligence to competitive programming and web development. Driven to apply my technical knowledge in real-world scenarios, I participated in the Build On, ASEAN Hackathon 2021 by Amazon Web Services, where my team and I created a prototype website proposing an improved business model for Carousell. This project taught me a lot about applying technical skills in a business context to create impactful solutions. - Assisted in data verification and validation in using data science and machine learning approach to predict semiconductor material properties. - Conduct EDA and data pre-processing on sparse dataset - Performed context-aware imputation on sparse dataset
Main Role: - Designed data schema and developed back-end processes with adequate validations to ensure system security and data integrity of a software as a service (SaaS) development tool system. - Implemented a modular user interface for a graph-based, low-code drag and drop AI orchestration tool that other developers can use to create, manage and visualise customised data pipelines and processes. - Planned, integrated and deployed a recommendation system that utilises live data, enabling client adoption of the low-code tool and contributing to a $500K enterprise contract.
Main Role: - Assisted the production of high-fidelity visual design components utilizing JavaScript and HTML/CSS tools for the enterprise resource planning (ERP) website. - Collaborated closely with the development team of 9 members to optimize data flow, increase efficiency and enhance user experience on the ERP website.
