I have built up 26 years of experience in logistics, in which I am always looking for the best solutions and working more efficiently. Thinking outside the box doesn't scare me. I am open and have a social character and because of that I can work well and maintain valuable relationships. Besides my passion in logistics I am also a committed father to my children and a fanatic sportsman together with my family. I have a huge love for my family with my girlfriend and two teenagers growing up. I am most proud of the project (at LDC) where we have been able to automatically read orders from the top 5 largest customers via OCR (Optical character recognition) and then confirmed/released (by email) back to the customer with a unique registration number, with which a driver can report at the terminal in Ghent. So basically a fully automated system! This project has shown that there are so many possibilities within IT solutions. Started as an International Execution Specialist and in 2015 have become an International Execution manager. In 2021 I have become Global Head of Juice International Execution. All within the Juices platform. The function of International execution manager plays a pivotal role within LDC to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction while optimizing the value of each transaction. I supervised the international Execution team and I was accountable for the flawless fulfilment of all types of execution throughout the trade to cash process including full completion of the customer file as well as for the cost efficient and compliant execution of all international LDC trades. Responsible for all aspects of team management including: hiring, objectives setting and performance management, training and development. I allocated resources and distributed tasks based on employees skills levels and development needs. I managed the development and sharing of best practices and fosters continuous improvement efforts. Addressed problems and/or weakness in the organization. I have become more Global in 2021, in which Juices collaborated and consulted with multiple platforms, Grains & Oilseeds, Coffee, Cotton, Rice, Sugar, Trade finance in order to ultimately make the best decisions.
