✦Developed and enhanced process flow diagrams and P&ID for >15 sewage pumping stations and 1 wastewater treatment plant, optimizing system efficiency and compliance. ✦Spearheaded the training and mentoring of new interns, revamping the training program to ensure a seamless onboarding process and improve overall productivity. ✦Conducted comprehensive pump tests for more than 10 sewage pumps and performed forcemain C factor calculations for 5 sewage pumping stations, improving system performance and maintenance. ✦Utilized advanced statistical techniques to conduct risk assessments of over 700km of watermain in Sudbury, employing Monte Carlo simulations to identify potential vulnerabilities and inform strategic infrastructure planning.
My responsibilities included: conducting field measurements of Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds (SVOCs) in Toronto using Integrated Organic Gas And Particle Sampler (IOGAPS), performing pretreatment of gas/particle phase samples, identifying the sources of air pollution as well as analyzing chemical properties of SVOCs to improve the urban Air Quality Model (AQM).
