During a two month shipyard period, David East Yachting found a buyer. The vessel was Surveyed, Sea Trailed, and eventually moved to Gibraltar, via Palma de Mallorca, with the final sale completed offshore in August 2008. Owner: Mr. Tomas Hannell ______________________________________________________________________________ .1997 -2004 S/Y Surama C ( 40.7 m – 134 ft. ketch ) Designer: Mr.Ted Hood Builder: Royal Huisman Shipyard, Vollenhove, Hollland I was involved in all aspects of the design and construction. Completed a 3 year circumnavigation of the world from 1997 thru 2000, Cruising Areas were Holland, Norway, England, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey Owner: Mr. Hugo Mann 1992 – 1996 S/Y Surama B ( 30 m – 99 ft. cutter ) Designer: Mr.Ron Holland Builder: Jongert Shipyard in Holland I started during the first warranty period; involved through the final sale of the vessel. Cruising areas were Caribbean Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Venezuela, Norway to the North Cap Baltic Sea, including St. Petersburg, Russia Owner: Mr. Hugo Mann .

In May, we have sold the S/Y William Tai, now renamed Surama, by the new owner. My job is completed, the new owner was not interested in my service.This closes the almost two year journey of rejoing the yacht, I would like to thank the owner, for allowing me to bring the yacht to the highest standards. I would also like to thank everyone involved in the project for doing the very finest of jobs. I have returned to the yacht known as Surama in August,2012 To assist the owner with the sale of the yacht. My years of experience and knowledge of the construction were his reasons for requesting me to come back on board. Eight years have passed quickly since we first sold the boat. I am looking forward to bring the vessel back into her former condition. We are coming out of our winter refit mode. I am proud to say we have now returned this fine yacht to the safe operations mode. She is looking fine, will survey in the highest category. Time to go sailing for the summer.... this is what I returned for in the first place!! I have just completed my first year back on board this fine yacht. With the help of a fine group of dedicated professionals; we have returned this yacht to top, safe mode condition. she will survey in the highest of levels. I am proud to have had the time and the financial backing to allow me to do this labor of love. We are sailing again, just as good as it ever was....!! Next up is to sell her again, that was my mission form day one.
