Apart from industrial and sphere photography, portraits will always play a big part in the work of VARSBAYD. Always looking for spontaneous emotions captured in interesting compositions and settings. Since 2010 also active as a still- and set photographer on film and television sets, from" The Silent Ones" to "Pijnstillers", "de Boskampi's", The Windmill Massacre" and "Kappen". This after ten years of producing and operating a videocamera for several projects, like "In het Vuur van de Storm" (aka "In the Lightning of the Storm"), which has become a WWII-television series of nearly 8 hours and was developed in 5 years time. From 2013 starting to develop more skills on lighting filmsets, learning from well known gaffers in the trade. Trying to be a divers asset on every set.
