I hold a master’s degree in hospitality management from Cornell and bring a combination of industry experience, academic leadership, and practical consulting expertise. My career in hospitality has been built around one central idea: exceptional food and beverage experiences are created through the intersection of operational excellence, commercial performance, distinctive concepts, and strong teams. Over the past fourteen years, I have served as a Lecturer of Food & Beverage Management at Cornell’s Nolan School of Hotel Administration striving to expose students to the power of hospitality while remaining deeply engaged with hospitality operations, openings, and industry consulting. Alongside my academic career, I have contributed to hotel openings with Kimpton Hotels in Oregon and Arizona, supporting the development and execution of food and beverage operations in highly experience-driven environments. Those projects strengthened my understanding of launching concepts, building operational foundations, and delivering venues that resonate with both hotel guests and local communities. At Cornell, I helped lead the redevelopment of the student-run restaurant within the Nolan School, reimagining the concept and operational structure to reflect contemporary hospitality expectations. This work required balancing guest experience, financial success, team development, training, service design, and operational execution—many of the same disciplines that define successful hotel F&B leadership. While teaching at Cornell I have also consulted with private companies across hospitality and service sectors to improve revenue performance, streamline operational efficiency, redesign training systems, and strengthen service culture. These engagements have allowed me to combine strategic perspectives with measurable business outcomes.
