Work done during the Project: Production and scale up of trabectedin congeners like safracins A and B, saframycin R from marine microorganisms
Work done during the Project: Activity guided isolation, purification and characterization of compounds from selected actinobacteria, Optimization of fermentation conditions for scale up of desired compounds showing potential activity against Gram-negative bacteria and biological activities of pure compounds against Gram-negative bacteria
Work done during the Project: Biotransformation of monoterpenes, Value addition using enzymatic reaction like Verbenone to 10 hydroxyverbenone, Geranic acid and Geraniol from Lemongrass.
