• Worked on various aspects related to International Trade and WTO Law • Familiarized myself with GATS and issues related to trade-in services. • Given various tasks related to India’s Latest Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations. • Researched on “scope of Mode 3 (commercial presence) under GATS/ Trade in Services of FTAs in comparison to the scope of investment in Chapters of FTA’s”. • Conducted secondary research on “non-application of dispute settlement in FTA Chapters”, “implication of soft law obligations in international law” and “implication of non-application of dispute settlement in FTA’s”. • Prepared a provisional mapping of Trade in Services and related chapters of Key Canadian FTAs (including USMCA, CPTPP, and EU-Canada CETA) and Movement of Natural Persons Chapters in India’s FTAs with Mauritius, Australia and Japan.
