About

I’m a Software Engineer with international experience across industrial automation, IoT, and cloud-based systems, focused on designing efficient, reliable, and scalable software solutions. Currently, my work is centered on IoT and cloud software development, where I contribute to building applications that connect industrial environments with modern, data-driven platforms. I work primarily with C# and .NET and collaborate on solutions involving cloud infrastructure, containerization, data processing, and observability, always with an emphasis on maintainability, performance, and clean architecture. Before moving into IoT and cloud, I worked extensively in industrial automation and control systems, developing HMI and SCADA solutions for large-scale industrial and energy projects. This background gave me a strong understanding of real-world production environments, process reliability, and the importance of robust software in operational contexts — experience that continues to inform my engineering approach today. I’ve contributed to projects across Mexico, Italy, the United States, and Europe, and I’m comfortable working in international, multidisciplinary teams and travel-based roles. I’m known for being analytical, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a strong problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. Outside of work, I’m passionate about music and woodworking, both of which reflect my appreciation for structure, precision, and creativity — values I bring into my engineering work. I’m fluent in Spanish and English, have advanced proficiency in French, and am actively improving my Italian, with an interest in learning German to further strengthen my professional presence in Europe.

As a Software Engineer at Polytec, my role has evolved from industrial automation software to IoT and cloud-based solutions, while maintaining a strong focus on reliable, production-grade systems. Current focus – IoT & Cloud (Nov 2025 – Present) I am part of the IoT & Cloud department, working on the design and development of software solutions that connect industrial environments with modern cloud infrastructures. My work focuses on backend and application development using C# and .NET, with experience across desktop and web technologies such as WPF, Avalonia, and Angular. I collaborate on containerized solutions using Docker and contribute to cloud-based architectures on Microsoft Azure. I also work with data and observability tools, including PostgreSQL and Grafana, and interact with time-series databases such as QuestDB and InfluxDB as part of ongoing and upcoming projects. Previous focus – Industrial Automation Software (Mar 2024 – Oct 2025) Initially, I worked in the Automation Software department, developing HMI and SCADA systems for large-scale industrial and energy projects. My responsibilities included PLC-related software development and system integration using TIA Portal (v19–v20), Ignition by Inductive Automation, WinCC, SQL Server, and C#. I contributed to projects requiring high reliability, real-time data handling, and close collaboration between software and industrial control systems.

Development of a Ranch Management System using Microsoft's .Net using C#, and Razor Pages, possibly implementing a desktop application in WPF and mobile apps with MAUI.

  • Data Analyst Intern at Aletia
    Feb 2023 - Nov 2023 · 10 mos

Data analysis primarily working with Python including NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib libraries.

  • Data Analyst at Juana Maria Ranch
    Jan 2020 - Jan 2023 · 3 yrs 1 mo

Data analysis focused on the livestock sector, providing in an updated manner ranch owners with the necessary information to make the best decisions for their business. Achievements: - By establishing a few changes to the overall operation, calves are now gaining weight 16% faster than in previous years during drought season. Changes were suggested thanks to a data analysis process that provided insight into what was different in the groups that were gaining less weight. - Suggested specific improvements that reduced last year's (2022) deaths by dehydration and malnutrition by 98%.
