Responsible for the whole engineering side of the team in F4 and Eurocup 3: Data and file management, performance and vehicle dynamics tools, process development, car setup improvement and resource management. Development a workbook file for the management of information during events. Runplan simulation, setup annotation and reporting, tyre mileage and fuel management, blanking and pressure calculations and driver pace reporting, improving efficiency and information management. Development of a vehicle dynamics tool to calculate different parameters such as ride height, aeroload, weight transfer depending on the car setup, speed and lateral acceleration. The workbook is linked with the vehicle dynamics tool and Wintax by an export and import table to quickly save and share the different configurations. This tool opened a whole new data source for the team in order to address setup changes and improve car knowledge. Different Python tools were developed in order to address different challenges such as pick up points characterization, tyre modelling and damping coefficients calculation, decreasing team costs since no simulation suites where needed (Optimum G or Dynatune to name a few). Responsible for the implementation of a new DIL Simulator (Etecmo), working with real data to calibrate car models.
Responsible for Renault/Nissan group vehicles' performance and drivability, both hybrid and gasoline. Validation by driving tests of both performances according to Renault specifications. Worked in the development of cars such as Clio V phase 2, Captur/Symbioz, the new Duster and the Raphale/Austral (2025 models). Data driven powertrain validation and calibration through road and track tests in different conditions (altitude, cold and hot mainly). Developed new Python and Excel tools to improve data analysis efficiency and accuracy. These tools where specially useful in gearshift shock and time response statistics, reducing analysis time by 65% and improving accuracy and therefore decision making. Engine bench calibration and combustion improvement regarding the new Euro 6 II emissions regulations.
