Coordinate and manage industrial construction and facility upgrade projects within a high-volume food manufacturing environment, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time delivery. Coordinate and support mechanical, electrical, and civil works, including cold room installations, mezzanine construction, equipment relocation, and building service upgrades. Develop and maintain project schedules in MS Project and Excel, tracking manpower, materials, and progress against key milestones. Prepare and review AutoCAD layout drawings, including facility upgrades, drainage systems, electrical layouts, and equipment positioning to support design coordination and contractor execution. Generate as-built drawings and technical documentation for municipal and internal approvals. Manage RFQs, vendor quotations, and purchase orders, maintaining cost alignment and adherence to project scope. Coordinate field work with maintenance, production, and logistics to minimize downtime and ensure safe operations in GMP-regulated areas. Support electrical infrastructure expansion, conducting load assessments and coordinating with Hydro-Québec and consultants for capacity upgrades. Oversee installation of compressed air, drainage, and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with CSA, CNESST, and food safety standards. Collaborate with IT and operations on access control and surveillance system upgrades, improving facility safety and traceability. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating materials, contractors, and technical solutions to enhance reliability and efficiency.
