A passionate designer specializing in product design. I have a huge enthusiasm for user centric design which has placed my focus on conceptually advancing ideas into meaningful experiences. I thrive in problem solving, ideation and execution through various methodologies I have acquired, through many disciplines of working. My learnings and experiences have allowed me to prosper and continuously learn as a design thinker, product innovator and visual communication lover.
Data Analytics for Health and Safety Duties and responsibilities: - Ideation: working closely with stakeholders to identify scope of the project. Gathering of business requirements, product needs and objectives to create the solution. Collaborating with other team members to ensure designs are adhering to business goals. - Research: Conducting user research and testing to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviour. - Analysis: Analysis of user needs and project requirements: including documentation and artefacts such as end-to-end user flows, sitemap, information architecture of features and user story mapping. - Developing and maintaining comprehensive UX design approaches, including user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. - Constant user engagement which created feedback streams done through usability testing. - Creating high-quality documentation that outlines design processes, ideas, and solution specifications.
As a designer at SovTech, I had transitioned from being a digital designer to focusing on product design in its entirety. My position required for me to have a further understanding and implementation capability of user centric solutions, which encompassed research and discovery, design and prototyping and finally testing and reporting. I have had to learn rapidly and adapt even faster to understanding tech and dev jargon as well as implementation structures and agile methodologies. I now design innovative custom solutions for our clients, pushing the envelope of product design.
In addition to company branding and corporate logos, my responsibilities included working on marketing and advertising campaigns. I designed collateral for external advertising as well as internal corporate initiatives.
As a graphic designer, my responsibilities included designing corporate branding and stationery for various companies whilst providing graphic design support for additional advertising collateral.
