We are taught to live as individuals, inside invisible fences with limited responsibility. I see it differently, we are World Presidents. The world is what my consciousness holds, all of it. The world is everything I perceive right now: my senses, my thoughts, my consciousness. I am not King, most of it is beyond my control. I am President of the World: leader and citizen at once. Every birth is a world created. Every death, a world ending. We are World Presidents and we have the power to change it. My responsibility is to live in peace and bliss. I experience pain. And when I remember that pain, it becomes suffering: fear and desire are created. The fear of something bad repeating, the desire for good things to happen. I carry it throughout my daily life. The pain comes and goes, but the hurt stays. And that hurt makes me afraid, sad, greedy, insensitive. It is everywhere, in myself and in others. I believe this suffering can be healed instantly, by triggering a direct experience: the experience that the world (we experience in our consciousness) is one moment. In the moment, there is no past, no future and no suffering. When suffering ends, peace and bliss emerge. Time is an illusion, the world is one moment.
