I have over 20 years experience working in Nuclear Medicine. I am dedicated, knowledgeable and professional. My employment experiences include hospitals, private clinics and ambulatory facilities. I have three different certifications and I possess experience in working with both old and newer gamma cameras and related instruments in a nuclear medicine department.
Duties included ordering and receiving all radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining inventories and screening patients before starting all procedures. As the only technologist, scanned, processed and submitted all studies for reporting in an efficient manner. Acted as the RSO and assisted in renewal of license with CNSC.
Performed all nuclear scans as assigned including Nuclear Cardiology, assisted with treadmill stress testing and radiation monitoring.
Worked in full scope of Nuclear medicine including Nuclear Cardiology, Infection Imaging and I131 Therapy. Duties included performing quality assurance of all equipments and GM survey meters. Worked with 99Mo-Tc99m generator. Used a centrifuge in order to prepare WBC labelled products
