About

I am including this summary as an introduction to the wide scope of work I have done previously as a Buyer, Salesman, and Department Manager which most do not appear on my resume. It is the buying and selling positions that I have had prior that would serve me well as an asset to any company that employ's me. I have been a Buyer of Children’s Shoes, Basics and Accessories at Youngworld Stores in Brooklyn, NY, a Buyer of Children’s Shoes at Alexander’s Dept. Stores in NYC, and started my buying career as an Assistant Buyer of Ladies Shoes for Roaman’s/Lane Bryant Stores in NYC. I have assembled shoe departments in stores and worked with store personnel in selling techniques. I learned how to negotiate the best prices for my departments, merchandise a selling floor, and communicate with employees and customers. My professional selling career began as a Budget Men’s Clothing Manager for Bamberger’s Dept. Store in Livingston, NJ. I was also a road Salesman for Fruit of the Loom Underwear, trade territory in Buffalo-Rochester, NY. Being a self motivated person, working with co-workers or independently, and assisting customers, served me well in my selling endeavors. It is these additional jobs I have had which round out a full career which would help me do the daily tasks at hand in any future employment and in my current career as a Buyer/Seller of sports and entertainment memorabilia. .
