William L. Reed was the name we found on a tombstone leaning against our NY State house. Mr. Reed died at 19 years old in 1862, and probably gave his last full measure of devotion to his country. In a similar spirit, I want to devote myself to helping my country and others in the world.

Lead the Electrical Program Area and Integrated Program Teams at the U.S. CPSC. Responsible for engineering project development and technology. Project manager for CPSC rulemaking activities. This covers aspects from research, project scheduling, authoring staff memos, Commission presentations, comment processing, and final rule development. Research and development on engineering projects related to consumer safety, including development and presentation of proposals to voluntary standards organizations.
Hardware engineer for mass storage integrator. Evaluated supplier products for performance and reliability. Wrote and executed data acquisition and anlaysis software. Developed documentation packages for Integration, Sales, and Customer Support teams for the company.
Researched detector array technology for the Spitzer Space Telescope. Hardware engineer, designing, constructing, and testing data acquisition equipment for astrophysical research projects.
