During this internship I collaborated closely with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience and valuable skills such as: - Performing physical tests on EKG machines using patient simulators - Conducting current leakage safety tests - Troubleshooting issues with EKG PPMs, including broken leads and printing errors - Performing preventive maintenance on EKGs, vital signs monitors, defibrillators, centrifuges, and patient monitors - Observing company engineers conduct software updates - Assisting in a syringe pump software update which locked settings to improve user safety and learnt how to do work orders
Trained in various medical departments and lot of medical devices used in monitoring and diagnosing patients and learnt how the machines were repaired under professional engineers
