Hi! If you're here, you're curious about who I am. Here we go: I am a first-generation American from New York who fell in love with language. I have over a decade of experience in poetry and specialize in producing life-giving stories. As the former Youth Poet Laureate of NYC, I have spoken at over 300 events including: U.S. Open, One Billion Rising, U.N.G.A and more. I have produced engaging and impactful content for campaigns that empower and inspire young women. I worked as a creative consultant for We Are The Girls, a global initiative by Plan International that aims to amplify the voices and stories of girls around the world. I have a master's degree in creative writing from The New School and a bachelor's degree in English literature from St. John's University. My skills and expertise include writing, editing, voice-over, and video editing. I have contributed to various projects, such as the Anthem award-winning We Are The Girls campaign launch video, where I served as a script editor, on-camera and voice-over talent, and video editor. I also teach poetry at Brooklyn Poets, where I share my passion for literature. My goal is to use my creativity and writing skills to draw the world towards wonder.
-Oversee all teaching artists across NYC programs, providing vision, guidance, and performance support to ensure high-quality arts education for hundreds of students annually. -Serve as the primary liaison between the CEO and instructional team, streamlining communication, aligning curriculum goals, and strengthening organizational workflows. -Manage relationships with partner schools—acting as the central point of contact for administrators, coordinating schedules, program needs, and long-term partnerships. -Lead full hiring pipeline for new teaching artists, including interviewing, onboarding, and training to maintain a roster of high-caliber educators rooted in equity and creative excellence. -Produced, edited, and project-managed Generation Verb’s inaugural student poetry anthology, featuring work from over 30 NYC high school students across multiple schools. -Coordinated all editorial workflows and final publication processes for the anthology. -Secured external media visibility—anthology release covered by Amsterdam News—expanding the organization’s public reach and storytelling impact. -Support curriculum development, event production, and special projects that amplify youth voice and cultivate literary community across NYC.
