• Engaged post-FTE to solve a critical business problem: architected and built the company's primary sales capture platform on AWS — still in production and handling roughly half of company sales • Designed a globally-distributed form delivered via CloudFront for low-latency submissions from sales reps in the field across multiple states • Built the supporting serverless backend (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3) to process submissions, store uploaded media, and feed downstream systems • Built an internal operations dashboard giving back-office staff real-time access to submitted sales and the ability to download associated media • Continue to extend and maintain the platform on a recurring contract basis as business needs evolve
- Cut $80k/yr by integrating DocuSign API to send templated envelopes - Built new flow for operations to increase productivity by leveraging GlobiFlow and PHP functions - Customized existing forms and built new ones to fit the brand, use case, and usability - Creation and maintenance of automations in GlobiFlow
- Maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline - Designed and deployed Lambda services as replacements for EC2 services to reduce costs - Engineer and maintain tools for developers to automate deployments to ensure the pipeline is always moving - Built services to integrate with Slack and PagerDuty for critical application monitoring
- Developed a new product from the ground up using AWS serverless technologies, Node, and React - Leveraged new React hooks and context api to ensure the product remained lean throughout its lifecycle - Deployed CI/CD platform using BitBucket pipelines utilizing AWS CloudFormation - AWS Cloudfront was used as a CDN for the front end to ensure quick delivery of content - AWS API Gateway managed our backend API - Maintained consistent use of ES6 with promises, async/await, and try/catch
Team project focused on executing a proper clone of Gucci.com in a timely fashion. This project was created using simpler tools than Gucci.com, was able to increase the speed of the site, and make it user friendly.
