A seasoned development finance and management professional with deep knowledge and more than 25+ years experience in the Middle East and North Africa. Currently the Chief Operating Officer for the Middle East Investment Initiative. Previously worked as senior investment manager for the Danish Investment funds (IFU) in Copenhagen, Deputy Chief of Party on a USAID funded financial sector reform project in Palestine, and an Investment Analyst for the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Started my professional career as an external auditor with KPMG in Bahrain and Palestine. MBA with a specialization in Finance and a BS in Accountancy from DePaul University, in addition to successfully passing the Certified Public Accountant exam in the US State of Illinois.
