Prior Experience: ✔Setting up a CFO Consulting practice for a large Research firm in India with operating offices on 4 different continents. I credit myself for successfully converting a business idea on paper for the owners to getting the first niche Nordic client in a span of 3 months. The journey of building a team, creating a brand, road shows, growth & then parting ways was nothing short of an adventure. The whole experience ignited the entrepreneurial streak in me & I had, on my way, built strong relationships with the global CFOs & the decision makers, who are still very thick & are clients in my current practice. ✔Led a Finance Transformation team of around 80 consultants for the clients of a $6Bn+ IT & ITES company. Our team was a team of high-octane leaders who introduced technology in various facets of finance solutions. Some key ideas include- Dashboard on the go ( Use of IoT & ERP to produce real-time efficiency dashboards for the production factory); Accounts Payable process on the cloud (APOC); Daily screening of data processed through MDM tools; Closing books on demand (not necessarily at the month end); Smart benchmarking to stay ahead in the game. ✔Blue print on developing world-class Business Intelligence competency center & Report Factory. We have set up BI competency & shared centers in the US, Estonia, India, LATAM & Hungary. As a result of this experience, we have strong cost & efficiency benchmarks and can provide the right strategy for the leaders considering consolidations & cost savings. ✔Developed training material & coached teams in developing healthy FP&A practices for the businesses. Was also part of the stellar FP&A team of GE in the US. GE spends disproportionate efforts on its short-term & long-term plans. Developed reports in HFM along with the IT consultants for better controls & gradual shift from MS-Excel.
