Utilize internal drawing release software to manage the numbering & revision levels of assemblies, sub-assembly fittings, & components. Design components (blocks/clips/brackets etc.) to support the designs. Creating CAD models and drawings to support product development and launch objectives. Interface with the product engineering team, R&D, and internal and external customers. Perform design reviews & clearance checks of designs to ensure they meet best practice guidelines established. Support, and in many cases lead, design review meetings with the internal and vehicle engineering team identifying best practice deficiencies. Communicate issues and progress to PE team. Analyzing mechanical and/or thermal systems using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Analyzing designs and/or processes using Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) APQP, Quality Management (TQM), Lean Manufacturing and Process Optimization. Manage the above activities within the program timing established.
