Responsible for creating budget estimates, schedules, and resourcing/staffing requirements for projects in the $300K-$1.5M range. Successfully coordinated delivery of projects through separate QA and Release Management teams within budget despite external forces changing project priority and deployment dates. Successfully persuaded key stakeholders at all management levels (up to VP) in accepting a software upgrade rather than invest heavily in new software during a time of economic restraint, resulting in an immediate $3M savings, significantly reducing risk, and shrinking the project completion timelines from 2 years to 10 months. Evangelized new software delivery methodology by assuming a thought-leadership role by providing feedback to the Project Management Office, and by leading other PM’s to adopt this methodology utilizing PowerPoint presentations, class-room training sessions, and by acting as the “go-to” person for any questions.
