Ralph Jansen is a Project and Test Manager with international experience. He works well under pressure with all levels of organizational management. DMC is the first company in the world that has managed to completely virtualise their playout solution. During the final year of this project, Mr. Jansen was brought in to set up a quality assurance solution for migrating around 80 channels from the old infrastructure over to the new platform. Mr. Jansen managed to set up a process and lead a team that ensured a smooth transition while providing good insight in to risks and quality while adhering to a tight deadline.
Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services, now known as Red Bee Media, is a global broadcast and media services provider. Using strong media brands, they bring audiences and content closer together the world over, while ensuring significant cost reduction for their clients. In 2012, Ericsson took on the challenge of completely redesigning, building and implementing a new end-to-end platform for the Dutch national broadcast cooperation. Mr. Jansen was responsible for quality, integration and acceptance testing of the new platform and for managing the migration from all legacy systems to the new integrated platform. Mr. Jansen took over the role as Project Manager during the final year of the project. Accomplishments: - Designed, organized and executed a complete new test and quality solution for Ericsson Broadcasting. - Ensured the new system met all necessary quality, robustness and reliability demands. - Organized and executed a successful ‘first-time-right-only’ migration to the most integrated broadcast system in the world. - Successfully achieved final project signoff.

Ralph has worked on various projects for different telecom operators. - Technical Project Manager overseeing the successful implementation of a new product tying together Mobile and Cable based products. - Test Manager for the implementation of new nationwide network structure for Internet and VoIP, creating extra redundancy and significant improvements for disaster recovery. - Designed and created a new rating structure for a budget telecom operator, enabling the company to increase revenue by analyzing and improving the current rate plans and to decrease their time to market and chance of errors by designing a new process for the implementation of rates and rate plans.
