- Execute experiments to demonstrate the performance of new formulations, new products and guiding the new product into market - Support in application tests for product manufacturing, quality issues and customer complaints - Providing the technical solutions and assistance to the customer - Lab management
- Attend the production process to check and control the production to be in accordance with the standard - Analyze the problems that occur in the production processes (internal/external) and find the solutions to prevent a recurrence or conduct technical guidance to customers to resolve the problem - Analyze the data to control product quality to be within specification - Coordinate and communicate with relevant departments and customers to support the customer’s requirements - Quality claim management - Develop and initiates standards or methods for abnormality monitoring - Provide the product/process audit for process improvement
1. Control and inspection of raw materials - Supplier selection/ Supplier evaluation/ Supplier audit - Incoming raw material inspection - Issue NCR report and contact supplier when raw materials have quality problems - Issue raw material standard (SDS) - Issue a declaration letter about hazardous substances according to RoHS, REACH regulation, etc. 2. Control and inspection of process/product - Attend the production process to check and control the production to follow the standard - Analyze the problems that occur in the production processes and find the solutions to prevent a recurrence - Determine inspection standards for new product - Develop/initiate standards or methods for abnormality monitoring - Provide the product/process audit for process improvement - Issue FMEA document 3. Customer support - Coordinate and communicate with relevant departments and customers to support the customer's requirements - Quality claim/complaint management (provide 8D/NCR report by using why-why or fishbone analysis etc.) - Attend the production process at the customer’s site and provide technical advice to the customer to solve the problems in the customer’s product or production process
- Help the teachers to create lesson plans - Teach the student to use tools or instruments in the laboratory such as the extruder, the cast film extruder, UTM, TGA, DSC etc. - Teach the student to use engineering programs (Mold flow, Solid work and Lab science)
- Support R&D team such as product testing by UTM, COF tester etc. - Prepare the production order - Solve the problems and develop the product according to customer requirement
