Working at the engine manufacturing centre in Wolverhampton,looking after the Jaguar Land Rover Contract.
Managed warehouse operations and performance, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Manage several operational departments within the business ensuring 100% compliance and assuring all service levels are met. Serve as the primary point of contact between Unipart Logistics and JLR, managing day-to-day inbound operations. Oversee budget management and ensure operational efficiency while meeting KPIs and compliance standards. Lead the development and implementation of SOPs, policies, and process improvements. Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address operational issues.
Support account strategy for growth developing and maintaining customer relationship in line with a partnership approach. Support in the production of monthly/quarterly review packs, annual budget setting, targeting and performance monitoring. Monitor compliance with all applicable legislation and KN standards (ie. QSHE, KN policies and procedures, statutory legislation) and insure operational compliance to contractual agreements. Led initiatives for performance improvement and team development.
Oversee day-to-day operational performance in a high-pressure environment. Provide excellent customer service & drive the same ethos throughout the business and team. Lead, motivate and develop a team to achieve site strategy and SLA's. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, investigate and solve customer's problems, which may be complex.
