As a dedicated and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist, I bring expertise in Hematology, Biochemistry, Immunology, and Molecular biology to dynamic healthcare environments. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and contributing to the success of healthcare institutions. With a solid background in conducting a wide range of laboratory tests, including Food Intolerance, Allergy, Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunology, and Microbiology, I have ensured strict adherence to ISO and EIAC guidelines, consistently passing ISO audits. My proficiency extends to verifying equipment function through maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and validation, ensuring accurate and reliable results. Having served in roles as a Senior Lab Technologist and Technician across diverse settings in Dubai, UAE, and India, I have successfully collaborated with pathologists for precise diagnoses and implemented efficiency measures, resulting in significant reductions in operational expenses and turnaround times for test results. Notably, I developed a stock inventory software to optimize management processes, enhancing overall laboratory efficiency. My journey in the field includes internships at prestigious institutions like Fortis Hospital, where I gained exposure to various laboratory departments and applied staining techniques for Histopathology and Cytopathology. I continuously engage in learning and training programs to enhance my laboratory skills, ensuring I remain abreast of the latest advancements in the field. Armed with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, along with professional certifications from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Paramedical Council of Uttarakhand, India, I am equipped to deliver exceptional service in healthcare settings. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bangla, I effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams. I am driven by a passion for precision and excellence in medical diagnostics, and I am eager to leverage my skills and experience to make meaningful contributions to the healthcare industry.
1. Signing of routine, normal, and abnormal results which do not need interpretation. (Tests that require Interpretation are e.g. Peripheral Smears, Histopathology, Cytology, etc. not allowed to be signed) 2. Inform & Authorize critical Alert results. Inform Lab Director. 3. Amendment of results and reauthorization of the reports. 4. Entry of patient report values in LIS. 5. Electronic release of examination results and reports. (emails, etc.) 6. Monitoring the CV% for both analyzers, checking the IQC daily, taking prompt corrective actions. 7. Checking RIQAS calendar for due date and ensuring its submission on time and its corrective actions, maintenance, oversight of breakdown/repair and filing of service reports, monthly maintenance, calibration log, print monthly LJ Charts, for approval and update inventory of assigned department regularly and well in advance. 8. Responsible for molecular lab duties specifically for covid 19, STI testing and RV testing and reporting of molecular.
