• Assist the HSE Manager in implementing and maintaining the company’s HSE Management System (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001). • Lead daily site inspections, audits, and safety monitoring to ensure compliance with project and regulatory requirements. • Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system and verify controls for high-risk activities such as lifting, confined space, and work at height. • Conduct incident and accident investigations, prepare reports, and implement corrective/preventive actions. • Provide safety training, toolbox talks, inductions, and develop workforce competency. • Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve safety issues. • Review risk assessments, method statements, lifting plans, and ensure safe execution of all operations. • Support emergency response planning, drills, and ensure readiness of all safety equipment. • Monitor environmental compliance including waste management, spill control, and pollution prevention. • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly HSE reports, KPIs, and participate in management review meetings. • Develop and implement HSE improvement programs to enhance site safety performance. • Monitor contractor compliance and conduct regular coordination meetings to address gaps and non-conformities. • Ensure proper documentation, calibration, and maintenance of all safety equipment, instruments, and PPE inventory.
Site Inspections & Audits: Performs regular, often daily, walkthroughs and safety audits on-site to identify hazards, ensure safety equipment usage, and verify compliance. Incident Investigation: Leads investigations into accidents and near-misses, determines root causes, and implements corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence. Emergency Planning & Training: Develops emergency evacuation plans and organizes drills. Conducts safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training for employees and contractors. Documentation & Reporting: Prepares HSE statistics, monthly performance reports, and maintains records of, injuries, and inspections. Permit-to-Work (PTW) System: Manages or audits the daily work permit system to ensure high-risk activities are properly authorized and safe.
