General Manager: Quality Control (QC/R&D), Process Improvement and Environment. I was heading these department at Balasore Plant, Sukinda Plant and Kaliapani Chromite Mines. I was a member of the purchase committee, and Sales and Marketing Committee. I coordinated with NABL, BIS, SPCB, CGWA, IDCO, State irrigation board, Ministry of Forest, auditors for statutory norms CTO, CTE, AQI, etc. Certifications ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (NABL); IS 1170:1992(BIS); ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Excellence); ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Responsibility); ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety). Quality Control (QC) and Sales Yard/Dispatch: Coordinated with QC lab, Sales and Dispatch team, Supply Chain Management team (SCM) and Marketing (Kolkata). Incoming raw materials and finished product (Ferro-chrome) is tested for ensuring quality as per the plant requirement (raw material) and customer specification (Ferro chrome). Additionally, I coordinated with the geologists at the Kaliapani Chromite Mines for monitoring the quality parameters of the ore. Research and Development (R&D): I was working on several digitalization projects that will help to understand the variation of quality parameters in the finished product: Ferro-chrome. Process Improvement: I coordinated with the Production team on Process Control. ENVIRONMENT: I was working with various government agencies to comply with all statutory norms with respect to environmental regulations. Tasks include working on obtaining and maintaining CTE, CTO, and other norms for Balasore Plant, Sukinda Plant and Kaliapani Mines. I coordinate with State Pollution Control Board, Irrigation Board, IDCO etc. I was also working on estimating CO2 emissions from the plant as per CBAM guidelines. I was working on other pollution sources (water/air) and its monitoring. I was leading ESG ( CSR), Decarbonization initiatives ( CO2 and GHG ) and Horticulture for the entire organization.
09/2021-Present: Associate Professor, Department of Metallurgy, School of Engineering, OP Jindal University, Raigarh, India • I have supervised ONE (01) Ph.D. scholar. My PhD scholar Mr Pradip Kumar Patra was awarded PhD in Metallurgical Engineering in on March 12, 2024. His PhD thesis is titled: “Development of a hot rolled ultra high strength steel with YS>700 MPa through CSP route.” • I guided six students in their Master project and thesis. Currently, I am guiding two more masters’ students. • I developed four (4) courses for undergraduate students, one course and a lab for master’s students. • Organized workshop and delivered lectures on “Artificial Intelligence in Steel Industry”, “Green Steel’ and on “Internet of Things (IOT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Thermal Power Plant” at industries around Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. I was in India and affiliated with FIU as a postdoctoral researcher. I was writing a textbook with CRC Press, Taylor and Francis Group during this period. I published one article on this topic. Dulikravich I worked on the following topics: • Titanium alloys for high temperature applications: I have published one article on Titanium based alloys focused on optimizing Young’s modulus and Density of Ti-Al-Cr-V system. • Aluminum alloys: I worked on Aluminum based alloy with Scandium addition focused on improving corrosion resistance of these alloys using combined CALPHAD and Deep learning (Tensorflow and Keras framework). I have published two articles on this topic. • Titanium alloys for biomedical applications: I have published one article on this topic. • At TMS 2021, two (2) of the above-mentioned research work was accepted for oral presentation, while another one was accepted for poster presentation. • Actively participated in preparing proposals for funding.
