Throughout my tenure, I have repeatedly proven my ability to lead through diverse and challenging situations. I directed all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization, ensured effective controls are in place and guaranteed compliance with local regulatory laws and group standards of the shareholders.
As a CFO, I worked with various departments to analyse levers of growth and profit pools where Bharti AXA would dominate. Additionally, I came up with innovative ways of supporting the business growth by optimizing use of capital and optimize financial performance of the company. I also architected solutions and built value proposition based on business requirements of the company. In this role, I ensured the adequacy of products designed from financial point of view as well as communication to the policyholders. I also obtained the shareholders’ approval, system readiness on time and manoeuvring through the bureaucracy of IRDA to get their approval on time. Snapshot of my profile include: Re-designed and re-launched all the products in line with the new regulations in a span of six months. • Set-up the first with profit committee of the company in March 2014. • Evaluated various actuarial processes like valuation and reporting, pricing and product development, calculations support, deterministic and stochastic modelling. • Provided leadership to the Actuarial Teams to ensure alignment and consistency between product lines and to ensure Bharti AXA Life deliver high quality and market leading business intelligence/pricing.
In this capacity, I led the entire life cycle of products, right from conceptualization to launch to product management. I created the product vision based on the customer needs and market trends.
