Product Manager and Owner for the “Outbound Print” Product and the “Records Mgmt, Package Shipping/Tracking” Product for two different internal organizations with different business capabilities • Successfully managed products for diverse business lines and reduced TCO (total cost of ownership) by 3% annually and ensured 100% compliance for TLM (Technology Lifecycle Management). Responsible for the definition and maintenance of the TCO, TLM, product KPIs, Governance, Team Structure, Blueprint and Capabilities of the product. • Defined product strategy, product roadmap in collaboration with the Business and defined and groomed stories in JIRA, maintained stories backlog, managed sprints and provided oversight of product releases. • Lead resources in multiple scrum teams in the planning, design, development, test, deployment and support of releases using Scrum framework and ensured all business needs were captured correctly and proposed solutions addressed all business and technical risks. Lead sprint planning sessions to prioritize stories based on multiple criteria such as business value, feasibility, sprint capacity, team velocity etc… • Lead and participated in different agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups to determine progress and remove any roadblocks, retrospectives to determine team improvements and optimize team performance, features demo to showcase team deliverables and so on. Defined and developed the product strategy and road map for the “EFI Suite”, a vendor product for marketing communications fulfillment. • Managed resources in the planning, design, development, test, deployment and support of releases and projects associated with the product. Collaborated with business to develop a robust backlog of product features that was prioritized to be delivered in regular sprint cycles • Lead various agile ceremonies such as Iterative Sprint planning, Daily Stand-ups, New Features Demo & Retrospectives. Utilized JIRA reporting facilities to track team performance and to communicate progress on efforts to management. • Lead team to regularly review processes and practices to determine opportunities for improvements which resulted in many key accomplishments such as optimizing the estimation and story pointing process. • Responsible for definition and maintenance of the total cost of ownership, technology lifecycle management, KPIs, Governance, Blueprint and Capabilities of the product.
Technical Lead for the Outbound Transition effort. Designed and developed overall solution for the successful transition of the Outbound Print work from Fidelity to Broadridge which was a complex multi-million and multiyear project that involved several business and technical resources both in Fidelity and external vendor teams. • Technical Lead in Senior Management Team responsible for project delivery Responsible for timely delivery of technical solutions in the different project phases to adhere to overall project schedule. Created solution design, standards and best practices that were adopted across the board by all the internal Fidelity teams and the external vendor. • Worked across multiple internal and external teams that used a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Role required constant coordination, communication, problem solving, governing etc.., to deliver the solution on schedule. Coached internal and external technical teams to adapt and adhere to the overall transition solution.
