Graduate from UT Austin's Turing Scholars CS Program, developing scalable and performant software systems for LLM inference at Etched.
Inference Software - Performance
Automatic CUDA-based test generation, automated from file generation to hardware trace recording and RTL verification.
Upgraded an Orchestration service used firm-wide to read/write data to an off-prem AWS service through a REST API, and provide more consistent, centralized data storage. Updated test suite to mock database read/write tests, and looked into automated triggering of cloud-based code action sequences.
Worked in the UUV Division: Assisted with the maintenance and optimization for software that runs on underwater vehicles designed by the lab. Involved understanding both hardware and software related to the operation of sonar devices. Created a Python-based GUI and a backend to communicate with onboard sensors and report their statuses. Implemented a multiprocessing framework to parallelize sensor interrogation and place results into a thread-safe queue. Began work into deploying static and dynamic analysis tools to support continuous integration features on the codebase.
Taught Students the Basics of JS Simulation: Worked in a Phaser.js environment and helped summer camp students begin studying game development. Experience with Teamwork and Creative Thinking Environment: Fostered a creative environment for the small group of students that I supervised. Helped me understand teamwork, mentorship, and the process of brainstorming. Worked 60+ hours a week including training and preparation for the next day’s material.
