I recently graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences, specialising in Networks and Cybersecurity. I’m particularly interested in Security Operations and am working towards a career as a SOC Analyst, with a focus on Blue Team Environments. Through my studies and hands-on labs, I’ve gained experience using SIEM tools such as ELK and Splunk to monitor and investigate security events, analyse logs, and identify unusual patterns or potential threats. I enjoy investigating how attacks work, whether that’s analysing network traffic, investigating IDS/IPS alerts, or exploring basic malware behavior. I’ve also developed a foundational understanding of DFIR processes and how they support broader incident response efforts. I’m currently seeking entry-level cybersecurity or SOC analyst roles in Australia or New Zealand, where I can continue developing practical skills and contribute to protecting systems and data. I’m particularly interested in opportunities within defence, government, or critical infrastructure, where security and resilience are critical.
