Setup and management of a new team of approx. 15 specialized Risk Engineers servicing a large portfolio of broker and agency business, providing risk selection support to underwriters and value-added risk consultancy services to industrial companies. Lines of Business: Property, Security, General/Employer’s/Product/ Environmental Liability, Machinery Breakdown. Main activities: - Design, promotion and coordination of Risk Engineering services to internal and external customers - Design of risk gradings, reporting standards, processes and procedures - Design of risk improvements wordings for external customers - Ensuring department performance, delivery and technical integrity - Monitoring and controlling of department delivery and consistency - Facilitation of underwriting support and coordination with other functions - Selection and recruitment of engineering staff - Internal technical training and mentoring activities - External communication sessions with agents and brokers - Representing the Company in cross-border Risk Engineering committees, including the Global Technical Excellence Team
