Industrial Project Engineer with over 15 years of hands-on experience across aerospace, automotive, and advanced manufacturing industries. Specialized in process improvement, EN9100 quality systems, DFMEA, and CAD/3D design. Currently leading industrialization and production coordination activities for ESA’s Vega-E M10 engine at Avio S.p.A. A pragmatic problem-solver who believes that real engineering is about learning from mistakes, improving relentlessly, and turning complexity into clarity. “In life, nothing is to be feared, it is only to be understood.” – Marie Curie
Industrial Project Engineer for ESA’s Vega-E program, focused on the development and industrialization of the M10 cryogenic engine. Responsible for process optimization, DFMEA application, and quality integration to ensure serial production readiness. Actively supporting cross-functional teams in reducing non-conformities and improving aerospace manufacturing standards (EN9100).
Assigned to Avio S.p.A. to support industrial manager activities on the M10 Vega-E program. Contributed to process optimization, mechanical design tasks, and DFMEA application. Worked in close collaboration with the Industrial manager M10 engine, providing technical and operational support.
Responsible for end-to-end product development projects, from customer requirements to serial production, in compliance with ISO 9100 standards. Led design reviews (CDR), created BOMs, maintenance manuals, and assembly drawings for industrial automation devices. Managed suppliers and selected partners for thermal and chemical treatments to ensure product compliance. Defined electronic hardware specifications and integrated mechanical/electrical systems from concept (“blank sheet”) to final product delivery.
Worked in the R&D Technical Office with responsibility for the maintenance and automation of in-house production systems for contact lenses. Designed and implemented automated machines to replace manual operations, supporting the Head of R&D with independent design activities. Acted as roboticist for KUKA robots and developed PLC (Beckhoff) programs to integrate robotic solutions. Provided cross-functional support to IT and production maintenance teams, leveraging expertise in electrical, pneumatic, and electronic schematics. Contributed to the full cycle of design, prototyping, and deployment of automated equipment within the company.
Provided technical assistance for automotive production lines (Alfa Romeo 952/949) ALFA ROMEO GIULIA STELVIO GIULIETTA. Programmed and simulated robotic processes with Robcad. Delivered maintenance and optimization of robotic systems to ensure high availability and compliance with production standards.
Supported mechanical design activities within the Technical Office. Completed assemblies and sub-assemblies in CATIA, including fasteners and sheet metal components. Prepared BOMs, spare parts lists, and maintenance schedules to support product lifecycle management and service operations.
