Zug, Zug, Switzerland
I build, back and advise companies across the energy transition — and I work alongside the CEOs, boards and project teams driving it. After eighteen years that took me from engineering through strategy to executive leadership, I am now an independent principal: an entrepreneur and advisor spanning renewable energy, energy infrastructure, hydrogen and LNG. I trained as a civil engineer at ETH Zurich and started out delivering large power-plant and infrastructure projects, learning how capital-intensive assets are actually built. Six years at McKinsey & Company, through to Senior Engagement Manager, taught me the strategic and commercial decisions that determine whether an energy project — or a company — succeeds. From 2021 I became an operator at the front of the energy transition: helping build TES (Tree Energy Solutions) into one of Europe’s most ambitious green-hydrogen and e-NG developers, as EVP Strategy & Growth and Commercial Director Switzerland, and then leading growth at Hygen Energy, a UK low-carbon hydrogen developer. Today my work spans three areas. I advise — as a Senior Advisor to TES and as Advisor to the Board of infraone, an OT-cybersecurity firm for critical infrastructure, where my focus is building its position in the energy sector. I build — as co-founder of Hydrogen Partners, the green-hydrogen venture I lead, whose flagship project is GreenWest PtX in Western Ukraine, designed to supply 100% green hydrogen to European markets and to help anchor the country’s energy reconstruction. And I invest and develop — through Blue Capital and Services, my Zug-based vehicle for investing in, developing and advising energy ventures, including an active search to acquire and lead an energy company in Switzerland. What I bring to a board or a leadership team is the full arc — engineer, strategist, operator, and now owner and investor. I have raised capital and pitched large, capital-intensive energy projects to investors and boards; run strategy and growth inside fast-scaling companies; and I now put my own capital and conviction into the ventures I back. I know how these businesses are financed, where execution risk really sits, and how to tell a growth story that survives contact with delivery. I am most useful to boards, CEOs and project teams across renewable energy, energy infrastructure, hydrogen and LNG, large capital projects and critical infrastructure — and the market-entry, commercial and growth decisions underneath them. I am open to selective non-executive and advisory roles alongside my own ventures.
TES is a global green-energy company producing e-NG — electric natural gas derived from green hydrogen — with a project portfolio across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia. As Senior Energy Advisor I advise the company’s leadership and contribute to selected strategic projects.
infraone is a leading OT (operational technology) cybersecurity consultancy and engineering firm specialised in protecting critical infrastructure. It secures the industrial control systems, production networks and safety systems behind regulated industrial operations — working across frameworks such as NIS2, IEC 62443 and Seveso III — for blue-chip European industrial and energy operators. As Advisor to the Board, my focus is building infraone’s position in the energy sector and critical infrastructure — shaping market-entry and commercial strategy and opening relationships with energy and industrial operators, bringing two decades of operating experience in exactly the sectors infraone serves.
Hydrogen Partners is a green-hydrogen project developer I co-founded in January 2024 and lead. We develop green and clean energy projects internationally, building integrated solutions that lower the delivered cost of hydrogen and connect renewable power producers with off-takers. Our flagship project is GreenWest PtX, a green-hydrogen development in Western Ukraine near the Polish border, designed to supply 100% green hydrogen and derivatives to Ukrainian and European markets and to help anchor Ukraine’s post-war energy reconstruction. It scales from a 50 MW electrolyser (~5,000 t H2 per year) toward 500 MW of electrolyser capacity (~50,000 t per year), with a first-phase investment of EUR 325 million, a Financial Investment Decision targeted for 2027, and a consortium that includes Ukrainian renewables developer UDPR.
Blue Capital and Services is my private investment and advisory vehicle, based in the canton of Zug, Switzerland. Through it I invest in, develop and advise ventures across the energy transition — and I am pursuing the acquisition of an energy-sector company in Switzerland, which I intend to lead (management buy-in). It is the platform through which I hold my entrepreneurial, investment and advisory portfolio.
Hygen is a UK developer, producer and owner of low-carbon hydrogen production assets — with the Tyseley hydrogen facility in operation and the 35 MW Bradford project at Final Investment Decision — building toward a pipeline of around 500 MW of low-carbon hydrogen capacity, decarbonising mobility, hard-to-electrify industry and power. As Head of Growth I led the company’s growth and origination agenda, with a particular focus on international expansion across Europe and the Gulf. I originated and structured low-carbon hydrogen and e-fuels development opportunities, built commercial and offtake relationships, and supported the planning and execution of the company’s capital raise.
