As an internal auditor at Sensata, my responsibilities include: -Conducting reviews of expense reports, purchase payments, payroll, and petty cash transactions to ensure compliance with company policies. -Performing detailed inventory audits, verifying stock levels, and tracking the movement of finished goods. -Reviewing fixed asset inventories and validating the entire process—from the user's capital expenditure (CAPEX) request to the capitalization of machines. Ensuring that these assets are properly recorded in the books. -Audits to identify potential conflicts in segregation of duties, particularly related to access to inventory and accounting responsibilities in systems like Oracle.
In my role, I review purchase card expenses, system-based purchase payments, payroll, petty cash expenses, and credit notes to ensure compliance with Vitro policies. Additionally, I conduct on-site audits at the plant, verifying inventory levels, tracking the movement of finished goods, assessing asset inventories, and identifying potential work-related risks.
