In charge of overseeing all raw materials and finished goods warehouse including receiving, stock handling, pick and deliver to production lines, packing, overpacking, palletizing and trailer loading for export shipments up to 600 pallets on a daily basis. Additionally in charge of Import-Export process and IMMEX controls as well as coordinate domestic and international transportation.
As Franchise Manager my main role is to support all operational aspects of the business from Inventory Planning, Transportation, Stock keeping, Deliveries and Customer Service. This is a support activity to a new entreprenurship.
In this position I was in charge of lead, supervise and manage all operational aspects of Inbound, midbound and outbound logistics for Apodaca Production Facility (APF), maintaining special focus on: * Inventory Management: Ensure optimal and accurate inventory levels are maintained to support production needs while working with Planning to minimize excess stock and carrying costs. * Logistics and Distribution: Oversee the transportation and distribution of inbound raw materials, components and equipment as well as finished goods, coordinating with logistics partners to optimize delivery schedules and costs. * Team Leadership: Provide guidance and leadership to a team of materials management professionals, setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. * Warehouse optimization and intra-plant logistics, including shipping and receiving and material control. * In charge to maintain and attend on site C-TPAT / OEA Certifications for the APF factory. * Follow up and coordination of Security and EHS activities related to warehouse operations. * Develop, Asses and Implement cost savings initiatives. * In charge of Inventory Record Accuracy workstream under Oliver Wight business model (IBP / Integrated Business Planning) for 3 factories in Mexico and 1 in Crawfordsville Position Dimmensions: Total crew: 110 people Warehouse: 50 Musd 45,000 sqft 3PL sites (3 locations)
Responsible of Distribution Center Operations in Apodaca NL and Memphis TN, overseeing Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, Transportation, Freight Management, Customs Brokers and Forwarders along with Trade Compliance activities related to Import, Export and IMMEX Controls as well as CTPAT certifications. 3 Warehouses Total area of 11,500 M2 5 People on MTR, 20 in Memphis (Contract Logistics) and 2 people in El Paso, TX I was also responsible for negotiations and operation of carriers in FTL, LTL, Last Mile and Parcel modalities, as well as air and sea freight for customers and suppliers in Asia, Europe and South America.
In this position I was responsible to manage and coordinate all warehouse functions for the Santa Clara Warehouse location, including receiving, storage, picking, shipping and safety programs; leading a crew of 7 salary and 15 hourly employees and +10 freight providers of FTL, LTL and Courier services for local, domestic and international deliveries. My main role was to ensure that finished goods are efficiently and cost-effectively maintained, also to implement the actions and develop working plans in order to keep accurate inventory records, no lost products, delays on shipping or incidents that prevent the customer from receiving their orders or compromise service levels.
